About
I am a PRINCE2 practitioner with several years creative project management experience.
I love to work in an environment where projects are moving through their life-cycle, working on something from concept through to full realisation is something that I find greatly rewarding.
My experience in exhibitions has been an journey of professional and creative development, I began designing exhibition stands but it was soon apparent that I had the skills and personal attributes to make a much larger contribution to the business. I have led sales and marketing initiatives, written all of the text material for a new web site, held initial meetings with new clients, worked with clients first hand through the whole design and build process and worked with some great design agencies to produce some stunning results. In doing this I have built some solid and profitable working relationships with clients who genuinely enjoy working with me.
My approach to Project Management is competent and structured, PRINCE2 has given me excellent understanding and knowledge of methodology and best practice when managing the delivery of products, I am a great motivator of people and manage people of all levels with a style which I have developed over my years of experience as a general manager in the hospitality trade.
I am a hands on manager with skills in vinyl graphics design, production and installation, CNC programming and operating skills and I am not shy of a good days hard labour loading and unloading an artic trailer.
I have great technical ability and have been accountable for the production of all technical drawings and working drawings for the stands that I have designed. I have a good sense for business having previously owned my own restaurant business, I am numerically very competent, and comfortable working with budgets, costings and reports.
I am at a stage where I am ready to take a step up in order to satisfy my own need to grow and succeed, energy and ambition are two things that I have in bucket loads.
